I'm almost sure Trinity uses FA White Grape. Have remixed it before and that gave me the right grape flavour.

Recipes with creams tend to require a long steep or they taste a bit underwhelming. I'd give that recipe/juice a 2 week steep minimum before trying it and deciding whether it's a good one. "Breathing" while steeping is very debatable. It's typically for alcohol based flavouring though.

I prefer PG Nic as it's easier to control (thinner) when mixing small batches. I guess if it stores better in PG than VG then that's another bonus. I haven't used Flavour Worlds base mix but based on the quality of their products I'd trust it implicitly.

+1 on the butyric acid suggestion. I get it more on the olfactory side though. Perhaps it's the FA Passion that has it?

+1 to all @RichJB's solid advice; stick to simple, proven recipes initially. One piece of advice I'd add is to mix by weight, not volume. Syringes are cheap but mixing with a decent scale is the only way to go. It's worth the ~R100, trust me.

I'm a big fan of CAP Juicy Pineapple and also somewhat TFA Pineapple. Haven't tried others unfortunately. Both are quite sweet and a bit astringent but also very mild. Taste a bit perfumey SnV but settle in a day or two. I usually go for ~3% in mixes.
