An International Vape Travelers Tale of Caution
To rap this up I'd like to leave you with a tale of caution about something many of you may not be aware of.

Recently I was speaking to a close friend and vaper who had just returned from an overseas backpacking holiday through Asia and he told me how he was detained at Singapore airport because he was carrying a vape and some e-juice in his carry on luggage.

I asked him if he had checked the vaping laws before his travels and he told me yes. While he knew vaping is outlawed in Singapore he didn't think to check his bag before entering the country as he assumed because he was only transfering planes to an immediate connecting flight there was nothing to worry about, but he was wrong and paid the price.

The moral of the story is if you're travelling via Singapore make sure your vapes and e-juice are stored in your stowed luggage not in your carry luggage.

Finally on don't assume anything and always pay close attention to international vaping laws.

If you've got a story about vaping and traveling we'd love to hear it so feel free to share in the comments section below.

    Safe vaping!

I don't think the above poster is accurate.

"South Africa has placed a ban on e-liquids which contain nicotine":

Furthermore I've been to Brazil last year and had no problem vaping.

Definitely not. It's said: "In South Africa, e-cigarettes are legal. However, e-liquids that have nicotine are illegal. Nevertheless, there are reports that these e-liquids are readily available in the markets despite being technically illegal."

What government issued document states that they're illegal or technically illegal? I'm sure you can prove that, can't you?

Ease up everybody, this Manufacturer is simple trying to deliver a public service related to vaping around the world.

So what if one or two facts are not 100% correct, no point in crucifying the brand and getting your nickers in a knot. Some of the incorrect facts I have been given by reputable vapers and vape business have also been questionable, no one is perfect.

I for one would have liked to have had this info prior to my trip to Hong Kong as I would then have know that only eLiquids with Nicotine are prohibited and not ended up leaving all my vape gear at home which I learnt only once I arrived in Hong Kong and as per the info I got from a customs official.

Besides no one on this forums has any clue on what our Government Plans to do with the vaping laws, like everything the ANC comes up with these days it more of a “surprise” then a well thought out plan.

Thanks for the info at @OFRFBrand, it was very useful along with the link you posted to your source. We do currently have readily available access to eLiquids with Nicotine but we don’t know for how long that will last or what our vaping laws will be other than our Goverment wants to class vaping with tobacco products and possibly align to the tobacco taxes.

Hi can anyone confirm if you can keep your vape in the checked in luggage, I'm on my way to Bali I have a 2 hour stop via Singapore airport on the way there and on the return. Connecting flight with Singapore airlines both ways to and from Bali.

Considering its illegal to vape in singapore. With a $2000 dollar fine

Yes I put a LOT of vape gear in my checked in luggage... it's really just batteries you need to have in your carry on luggage! I came back from Germany via the UK with about 8-9 mods in my checked in luggage!

    I disagree.

If you're going to post something you take responsibility for it. I'd never post something unless I'm 100% sure that is the absolute truth or if I absolutely believe in it. If you're not going to take the time to validate it, it defeats the purpose of the post thus just saying something for the sake of saying it.

Posting something that you think is right is one thing but posting facts that are incorrect (as a reputable brand) is another. I can't understand why the post hasn't been removed, rectified and reposted.
