So I've been playing around with some ideas. Any ideas are welcome please.

    2 questions?
    1. Who sells off cut pieces of awesome wood?
    2. What will be the best for a firing button?

Quite a few wood guys around JHB, these guys however look if they keep all the exotics: http://www.countrywoods.co.za/en-za/johannesburg.aspx

And for switch I suggest using old tube mech switch parts.??

Thanks Johan. I actually mailed Countrywoods and I will be going there during the day. They sell off cut pieces as well. Exactly what I need!
Also though of getting a few mechs from FT. That will work awesome!
Thanks Johan. Always appreciate your input!

    Got wood!
    Everything is getting together.
    My sanding belts arrive today.
    Drill press on it's way.
Then we can start making some awesome pipes!

Another nice example of existing tobacco pipe converted to e-pipe (Calabash style) by a member on another forum by the name of Toothless:

Maple pipe almost there. Very rough still. Just need some magnets and then I complete it with final forming and finishing.
    I love doing this!

I stuffed it up. Plain and simple. :(
Bad 510 connectors and bad battery contacts.
This happens when you do not plan 100%. O,well, I have a lot of wood and I will give it another shot soon.
Next time I will only show the final pipe. :)
For me it's playing and a learning curve. ;)

On this topic. I’ve got a old smok alien mod. Its a bit broke casing wise but perfect functionality wise. I want to use its componets to build a e pipe but Im struggling with a slim design consisting of two 18650 batteries. Will a 26650 batt work but just have a shorter batt life?0

1 x 26650 (ie: 4000mAh) battery will not last as long as 2 x 18650 in parallel (ie: 2 x 3000mAh), but battery life (charge- & discharge cycles), before you bin the batteries will be the same. Google Limelight e-pipes for some inspiration in designs.
