Hello VC. I recently purchased 2x LG HB2 from the shop and just now wanted te re wrap them in my new wraps. When i opened the sleeve of one of the batteries it revealed this. 2382AF57-214E-4C8F-A7EA-531D4AF62881.jpeg

I am sure this oxidation should not be present on the new battery but your help in this regard will be appreciated. I dont even want to open the second wrap as it would mean i would not be able to use my mech if it has the same oxidation.

    Thanks

Hi, i have opened the same battery and found no oxidisation. This battery could have suffered over Charge\Discharge. It is important to be very vigilant when using a mech mod and check that your battery does not over discharge, as this could damage the battery.

However you are welcome to come into the store and i will replace the damaged battery and rewrap it for you.

I will come and swop the battery as it is 11 days old since purchase and i have not seen this from any of my other batteries. And have had them in multiple charge cycles.

    Thanks for the swop out.

No rush, was just wandering if a faulty insulator could of lead to sparking... which drives home the importance of replacing any damaged wrap
