VIK Cotton Group Buy

Thanks for this. I'll be in for:

2 x 3mm packs
1 x VIK case 3mm

I am glad to see that most of the people are around JHB, which would take most of the re-shipping headache away (I work in Woodmead).
For Mr @Rob Fisher , I can do a personal delivery at Vapecon.
The only ones I worry about are the Cpt guys (will any of you be at Vapecon too) and Andre... Where on earth is Koringberg??

Not to worry, I will send my courier to you.

Yes, you can choose either one of the two diameters when ordering the case.
Ok... seeing that i hardly ever use 2.5mm...

  • 1 case with scissors and 3mm (if this can be half 3mm and half 2.5mm then its even better, but all 3mm as the plan b).
  • 1 pack of 50x 3mm
JHB North based so courier shouldn't be required.

I just spoke to the VIK Person via their facebook chat line again and apparently the Cases can be made to order, so mix, or single option are both on the table.

I think we must just make 100% sure how legit this company is before any payment is made to them. There website is a little vague and yet there facebook page is buzzing with likes?
I agree with you, but it is a new company that are still trying to get more retailers to sell to.

I will send my courier. I can collect for @Humbolt he stays near me, that is once he confirms the order.

For the people who have investigative skills....
VIK Cotton is registered under the brand Better Wick Co. Ltd (I cant find anything on them)
Co registration number is 0105561137301 in Thailand (also can't find anything)

This is not the updated list, but just an example of the invoice. It has some company details on it as well, perhaps the shrewd businessmen on here can confirm a little more.

After thinking I need to change my order, if in order.

1 x 2.5 pack
1 x 3.0 pack
1 x 2.5 box.

Those scissors have been haunting me the whole afternoon, my current ones are dull as hell, keep on forgetting foil to sharpen with.

Yeah - i got a shipment held back recently as well.. legislation if followed through works as follows:

"Buy more than three items from online international retail sites, such as Amazon, in the space of a year and you will automatically become an official importer in the eyes of Sars — and you will need to apply for a special code before getting your hands on your purchases.

Since 2013‚ the amended Customs and Excise Act has allowed South Africans to "import" no more than three "consignments" from overseas — with a value of less than R50‚000 — in a calendar year without registering with customs. In other words‚ if you bring four or more overseas purchases into the country during the course of a year‚ you need to apply for what’s referred to as an importer’s code."
Then I’m screwed already, 3 pakkies at customs:eek: , so I may have to get registered with a code as some solar items are needed next. Going to google to see if there are costs and how much.

That may be the rule but they don't follow it very well because if they did I would have been blocked 4 years ago! I have bought in hundreds of parcels,!

So let’s hope they keep on doing that, looks like a lot of paperwork for very little. It’s not as if we are bringing in containers full, just some odds and ends that you cannot readily find easily. Thanks @Rob Fisher

@CJB85 you can put me down for:

2 packs of 2.5mm
1 case with 2.5mm

2 packs of 3.0mm
1 case with 3.0mm

Thanks.
