Hi all
Recently i posted about my wife having some cough issues(getting out of hand now) on exhale
I've increased the vg on my mixes up to 90%
I've decreased the nic to 1mg
I bought SS316ll 26ga wire and tested

So far NO luck even with PRIME JUICES

If someone have a spare Pod i can borrow to test to see its gonna solve the problem
I will be grateful i dont want to spend more on something i dont know if itsgonna work

Thanks

I am not a medical professional so my comment is just based on my experience but my first two to three months vaping I was also couching like a donkey. Could not really take any long draws. Coughing also produced some awesome lung cookies, which as they cleared up over time, also reduced the couching intensity and frequency.

I think in my case the process of clearing the lungs of 34 years of tar and carbon residue is what caused it. Maybe the same for your wife. Glad I stuck through as today I can breathe again and can not remember when last I was out of breath.

Regards

We been vaping for a year about now
She started coughing about 2 months back.
She only vapes at night and over weekends the same when she was still smoking.

I was thinking now maybe it can be the nic as i changed the brand about 2 months back BUT on the other hand she coughing on the prime range as well

You dont need a pod, some pods have 0.40ohm and lower coils. Just get a mtl atty and build a coil that is around 1ohm and vape at less than 15watts. You can even do this with some single coil attys, restrict the airflow to mtl and build high ohm coil

Mmmmm, sounds like the nic. Just because they printed "prime" on the label does not mean anything. Clyrolinx (spelling?) is all I use and despite the lack of hype around the brand, so do many commercial mixers.

I am a bit far away from you but see if you can get hold of a sample and see if it makes a difference.

Good luck.

No meidcal expertise either, just something I noticed with regards to coughing and vaping at night. The coughing only occured when I was flat on my back running under 40watts on a 60watt tank. The wattage was turned down to save battery - not in the mood to go hunting batteries in the dark. When exhaling through my nose, I noticed a lot of condensation in my nostrils, some of which must have been running down my throat like a post nasal drip.

I tested me "theory" a few times, and as soon as the condensation is eliminated, the coughing stops. Just my 2 cents.

Could it perhaps be a sensitivity to the PG that is becoming more pronounced?
Perhaps try finding (or mixing) a juice at 80/20 and see if the problem gets any better?

On another note, my wife is a new vaper and has just moved past the coughing stage. In the transitional period (intermittent coughing) she said that it was worse when she tried to inhale "carefully", because she was afraid of the cough. I don't know if there is any validity to this, but perhaps "tensing up" while vaping can also increase the throat irritation?

Im thinking of maybe getting the Berserker MTL first gonna change the airflow in my "skyfall" for MTL and let her test it

They are primary distributers and not rebottle & relabel setups like most. This also ensures their stuff is always ‘fresh’ and has not been sitting on a shelf somewhere. Decanted from the mother-load on ordering.

Order a 200ml, at that price theres little risk.

By the way, you did shake your nic properly before mixing?

I use both but more the pg

The nic itself, sorry was not clear. You get nic in Pg (preferred) and Vg. The Vg based nic is hell to shake especially when chilled. I spend about 15 to 20 seconds shaking my Pg based nic an many will say thats not enough although ive never had issues.

Certain icy additives in juices cause me to have uncontrollable coughing spasms. I'm not sure which one are responsible in my case.

She could have an allergy/irritation to some of other additive.

Was thinking of that also cause most of our juices is iced BUT then some Prime e juices dont have ice and she coughs on them also
Its a win/loose battle here

The only "cool" juice that doesn't make me cough is Red-Pill. But I vape tobacco flavours 90% of the time. Perhaps she has developed a sensitivity to WS23.
