Howsit Vapefam?

I need some help please. My molly stopped firing and i have no idea why, my understanding of these things is very limited but to me, because it is a mech all i know is ohms law for my build and the fact that i need to comolete the circuit for the device to fire.

I've cleaned out all contacts with surgical spirits and I've put the devuce back together but still... Nothing!

Please, if there are any molly v1 owners out there that can assist or anyone else, I'd really appreciate it.

hi, not familiar with the Molly but is the 510 self adjusting or you can adjust manually ?

regards

ok, have you checked the adjustment hasnt shifted and not making contact with the RDA
Yeah I've even raised it so the atty doesnt sit flush but a little raises to see if it fires but nothing. Just dead

weird man, another thing I find on my Resurgences is the dimples where the batt fits in slowly wears down and then doesnt fire, easy fix though

When I saw Molly help needed....
Ey nevermind lemme not call my dealer lol.

Simple answer is what youve already figured out. The circuit is broken somewhere.

Have you tried a multimeter or similar to test the circuit is closing properly?

If it's battery contact dimple (my billet box had this issue) then you can test that with a piece of foil in between the battery and the contact plate (creating more surface area /contact area in case its space between battery and contact plate).

It could be the 510- adjust it extra high and see if it helps (I'm sure your atty has been fired on a regular mod so you know the atty itself works).

If it's not either of the above then :

Switch itself isn't making contact when fired (worn down maybe) - foil could test that as well but I suggest be ready to pull that battery out really fast (put a ribbon or something behind the battery).

Worst case there's a hairline crack somewhere on the circuit. Very unlikely though as you woulda noticed it when stripping the device and cleaning.

I think it's beyond repair, I will come collect it and get rid of it for you

Great that you're back up.
What was the issue eventually?

I never knew the bolt holding the the 510 and top contact to the mod played a part in comoleting the circuit. Therefore i never cleaned it leka because im moeer lazy and hate admin like you know.

Mr father tendencies @OnePowerfulCorsa advised me otherwise and leka, the thing works.

I still dont see how this bolt plays a part because on my monark, that bolt is plastic. I never was good at science though.
