This Miso C was sent to me by @StompieZA
Thank you to @StompieZA for his generosity, however, this is my honest take on the device and is in no way influenced by his generosity!

This is less a review, more just my thoughts/ experience with the device.

I won't lie, when @StompieZA told me that he's putting a Miso C sample in with my order and if in return I would do a small review on the device, I was a little concerned, or should I say skeptical.
Not skeptical about whether or not I'd receive the device, I was skeptical about me using it being that it is a pod device.

Allow me to elaborate quickly....

When I quit the stinkies 5yrs + ago, I went straight to DL vaping and dived into the proverbial deep end at the same time as my 1st device was a regulated mod with an RTA. So building coils, and wicking has been with me from the start of my vaping journey.
I have never owned, nor do I own any MTL devices or any pod devices, nor have I ever used MTL devices or any pod devices. (That is until I received the Miso C)

First impression while unboxing the device went something along the lines of "oh cute, its dinky! this thing will never hold up...!"

So after charging the device, (which charges quickly, a very big pro. It charges faster than any mods I've owned that have had built in batteries) I popped open the rubber grommet/stopper on the side of the pod and threw in some 70vg/30pg apple-litchi. (Being a DL vaper, with some RDL once in a blue moon, 70/30 is the thinnest juice I have)
I let stand for about 10min to allow the coil to prime, and then took a few draws with the device off to ensure the juice was wicking the coil.
I checked that I had the pod in the correct way for RDL, then 5 clicks of the button and the device came to life, made visible by the flashing green led.
Took a few short draws to get the coil wicking nicely, then took a good long draw....

Now I can't compare my experience with any other pod or MTL device, as I have never owned or used one before, but damn, that 1st long draw suprised me. It was a lot more restricted than what I'm used to with RDL, but the flavour I got from it impressed me!
I had no idea I'd get such a decent amount of flavour coming through with such a small device. I can understand now why a lot of people enjoy the pod devices.

The size of the Miso C, makes it an awesome device for me to carry day to day along with my everyday carry, and its perfect for a quick stealth, discreet vape. The autodraw function makes it even easier to sneak in a quick puff, but old habits die hard and I found myself pushing the button every time, unless I made a mental note to remind myself I don't have to.
As I said before, I have nothing to compare it to, but I can say, had the Miso C been around when I started vaping, I most certainly would have switched to pods 1st.

The Miso C is in my opinion a nifty lil device, that delivers flavour as well, and will definitely be a help to those trying to quit the stinkies.
The Miso C has earned a place in my carry equipment that goes to work etc. with me and will be used when I need a discreet puff or when amongst smokers as I will be showing it off and recommending it to them.
I have filled the pod 3 times during the course of the day and haven't put the device back on charge yet.

Unfortunately, the 3 refills are all for now until I get replacement pods, as I managed to burn the coil... sad, I know, and just as I was getting into it.
I'm not sure if it was my juice not wicking quickly enough/ to thick for the pod, or if it was my dragon lungs and my chain vaping .... I know I hit it harder than those who would be using it and probably longer too as I hit the cutoff more often than I care to remember.
I can't fault the device, its my fault I burnt the coil and I know it... 5+yrs of DL vaping, big, deep, long inhales and fogging out rooms when you exhale, you tend to forget that, that is not what this device is for.

Overall I was impressed with the Miso C, and being the 1st pod device I've actually vaped on, I was suprised to say the least at the flavour that I was getting even with a thicker juice than one would probably normally use on pod. The battery life for the duration I used it before cooking the coil, and at the constant rate I was using it was impressive, and even if I needed to recharge (which I didn't), it takes an impressive 25min to fully charge.

I will definitely be recommending the Miso C to those I know who are trying to quit the stinkies, and I will be buying replacement pods so that I can make the Miso C a part of my daily carry.

I would just like to say Thank You again to @StompieZA for sending me the sample Miso C.

If the coil isn't burnt that bad it will recover. Try some menthol juice or even a lemon type. Let it sit for a while and see if it worked.

Just a quick update....

Since cooking the coil on the Miso C, the device has been sitting in my cupboard, and to be honest I forgot about it...

Last week I finally ordered some replacement pods for the Miso C and opted for the 0.8ohm pods...

Since they arrived today, I have beaten the 3 fills I got previously before cooking the coil, and am on fill 4 with no signs of it hating me...

... and if you're wondering, no I haven't eased up with how I vape it... I'm still hitting it with long, hard pulls on it (dragon lungs, remember) and still using a 70vg/30pg juice in it.

I think the 0.8 coils are much more suited to how I abuse the Miso.

My 1st pod device, and 1st major RDL device, and I can honestly say, now with the 0.8 coils, its definitely going to be an everyday carry along with which ever device it is I use that day!
