So I came upon this on Facebook and the names, etc. of almost all the juices - including some of my new ones - are on this list. I do not know who these people are, they are not clients of mine or nothing. I cannot vouch for any of these juices as it's not from me, but the names are strikingly familiar as you would be able to see from my latest list I published here (https://www.ecigssa.co.za/official-juice-list.t74345/).

I cannot stop anyone from buying from these people - though why, if you get the original at better pricing? - but I want to confirm again this is not me and I am not affiliated to these people

Having had designs stolen and copied over the years I get your anger and frustration ...

Cloners, (Thieves!), can and do cut costs as they have no vested time in research and development ... It's a tough bite to swallow, and whilst this is so not kewl by any means ... It is flattering on a level ... Your flavours stand out high as they do, with cloners wanting to emulate your successes, and they lack what it takes to innovate and create a real success story of their own.

As to any forum members that support clones in any manner or form ... remember that theft stops when the market for stolen goods disappears!
Stop buying clones, else the innovators will disappear, and all you'll be left with is copies of an innovators dream without any advancement or improvement.

Clones?
Just remember some of us don't have 2 - 3 Grand to spend on a atty so ja I do got 1 or 2 clones
If I spend that amount of money on 1 atty I will surely be heavy in the shit at the missus

So what you're really saying is that it is OK to indulge in and or support thievery if you can't afford what you want :-(

No amount of rationalisation / justification for theft makes theft OK .... EVER!

When Sipho steals your car because he can't afford one ... but he wants one ... watch how pissed off you'll get!
 
I think there is a differentiation between some one like SXK who clearly mark their products as clones and some one who passes off a product as an original like a lot of Chinese hand bags. In this case @ivc_mixer is caught between a rock and a hard place as there is no way he could protect a "name" and then the onus would be on him to prove that a "cloned product" had exactly the same composition and further that the recipe had been obtained illegally. Just about impossible to do. His protection will come with his brand name and the suppliers carrying his product. For example, Blackcurrant ice by 5Son.

And I will love it when someone steals one of my cars then the insurance can pay out - I need a 4x4 bakkie
 
Someone has to actually buy one of these that are hard to clone, one with the most ingredients ( im sure they will change the label, if not then they are more stupid than they look) and see if its an exact replica.

If so, i can maybe assist. Depending on their location.

It makes sence that these muppets would buy wholesale and sell retail with their markups.

We can also easily find out who the culprit is. Ek whatsapp jou.
 
It's all good. I've made peace with it. I have my client base and they know the quality they're getting from me. Also, these guys are more expensive than me, so I cannot see myself losing anyone to them to be honest.

What else can one do? IVC receives an order and sends it. How does he know what the buyer is going to do with it?

To me the worst is that the buyer could well be someone from the forum. I wish there were some way of finding out who it is. Someone whose posts we like; someone who post jokes.
