Battery has come loose at positive terminals. When I tried to connect it the one battery become hot. Has anyone had the same thing happen? Can it be replaced with other batteries?

Hi, the minus button of my svd activates without being pressed. Its an intermittent problem and it irritates the crap out of me because it wont fire when it does that.
