Lets start, this thread is my opinion, some of my vaping friends may agree, and others may not.

Note, all the builds is low ohm 0.25-0.60. Ni80 or SS316l 26ga. Trial #1 I wicked with Kendo Cotton and filled the lady with some menthol juice, and the vape was super awesome. The Cotton got a Rayon feel, and wick very easy.

Trail #2 I wicked with Kendo and vape some desserts, good vape but not my all day vape.

Trail #3 I wicked with Kendo and vape Nett Tobacco and another Reo with RY4 at first the vape was VERY good, then it went from bad to worse, got a funny "not burned" taste that irritates the crap out of me. Note the wick were saturated at all times.

I immediately re wick the Tobacco and RY4 atty's with Cotton Bacon, and BOOM back to basics, in fact busy with my second tank on the RY4 and the vape is still GREAAT.

So to conclude, for menthol juices I will definitely use Kendo. All deserts, Tobaccos and RY4 juices I will stick to Cotton Bacon.

I hope some of you may find this helpfull.

Great insights and review @Petrus
Thanks for sharinf. I need to try this Kendo for my menthols

Hope you dont mind but I am going to move this thread to the reviews section

Thanks for that @Petrus! I'm not a huge cotton fan of any kind but this past weekend with @Oliver Barry doing some builds for me and instructing me on wicking some of my atties like the Avo and the Moonshot I am once again using various of the cotton based wicking materials (well Kendo and Cotton Bacon)... the problem for me is that despite a fresh wick in both the RTA's the flavour isn't as good as my Target Tanks with ceramic coils... this is actually a little upsetting because I can see the end of rebuilding for me and that kinda detracts from the whole scene of vaping.

Also I have to say that the flavour I am getting from these new builds is pretty damn good and getting coils and wicking right is absolutely an art!

This whole scene is reminiscent of my days back before the internet and Bulletin Boards which was an amateur network of geeks connected by modems that played such a vital role in my life and my career and businesses. In the beginning modems needed to be configured and there were a million different way to set up a modem and each and every setting played a role in speeds and reliability of downloads... also the software was clunky and also needed much massaging of settings... those were the pioneer days when it was a hobby and a lot of research and fiddling was critical. Also modems were only sold by specialists! We also had the Browser wars that were a lot more important back then because they were all vying for domination and standardisation. Then came the internet and modems and technology improved at a rapid rate... then Game started selling modems that just worked out the box and the black art of modem configuration was lost.

OK that was a long story... but what I'm saying is that vaping is a relatively new fad/hobby/smoking cessation device or whatever you want to call it and we are ever so grateful to the pioneers and specialist coil and wick makers who teach us to get the best out of our devices... but I think 2016 will be the watershed year and I can see coils that will last a 100 refills, tanks that don't leak, mods that are simple and work really well... coils are coming of age and all we need now is a battery that lasts and doesn't weigh a ton!

And what I really meant this post to say was thanks Petrus I will try Kendo with my menthol juices! :D

OK so to me Kendo shines my dripper for the fact it is super forgiving as far as going dry goes. I use short wicks fluffed out to hold juice. I like to drip just a few drops and suck it dry then drip the next. I have not had a dry hit. Came close while seeing how far a drip can go. I can measure out and vape single drops per coil. Drop per toot. I like it for my purposes.

Modems before the internet?! Wow. I was a baby then. I simply cant imagine not being connected right out my pocket.
