Looks like something that is used to cut off mesh to specific lengths. Custom coils or a similar application I presume.
I have not started with the custom stuff yet.
At the moment I am interested in the mesh itself - I have a 3D printer and sometimes repair broken plastic stuff. The mesh looks like a very viable material to reinforce plastic repairs!

Definitely could be used to heat and push into plastic for repairs. Great idea.
Oh yes - Hold it in place then apply a certain voltage to heat it up to a specific temperature depending on the plastic.
And it will probably work well with the Q Bond as well.
