Vaping Time - Milestones Reached - Good News!

Today marks my very first consecutive year of not smoking after I started in 2002. It kind of snuck up on me. Guess it's because you don't miss it all that much if you vape. Next goal is to move from 6mg juices (I started on a Twist Clearo on 18mg) down to 3mg and eventually 0mg. This...

tl;dr - High airflow, no-leak RTA for TC

No chance of me ditching the subtank mini, @Silver. Had it since Sept 2015 and still use it daily - hasn't skipped a beat. The (in)famous Kangertech paint job has performed exactly as expected (i.e. both the mod and tank look like they survived being attacked by a deranged, axe-weilding pixie).

That's very generous of you, @Mike. I might take you up on that in future!

tl;dr - High airflow, no-leak RTA for TC

I'm already building and wicking coils for my Subtank on the RBA. I've even managed to spin up some twisted wire. I just don't see/feel/taste the advantages of exotic coils. I might have to play around with this some more... I'm not sure I can run a SS coil in the iStick TC60W. I believe...

    Sperm damage?

I read the article before commenting. Now, I'm all for a good direct lung hit, but I don't imagine even tricksters pull vapour all the way down into their nut-sacks. Their testing methodology seems to be along the same lines as taking a fish out of water, pelting it with ice-blocks and then...

    Mods that can charge batteries

My 2c worth: I have an old Kangertech subox mini kit (kbox mini mod before they started integrating TC) and a newer (by about a year) iStick TC60W. Both these single 18650 mods have USB charging capabilities but, the kbox seems to do a better job of charging the battery than the iStick. By...

Here's to Dolly, to clone or not to clone

Years of training. Started on the Stuyvies, hopped brands like mad before settling on Marlboros and switched to Princeton when the Marlboros became too expensive. And even after all that, STILL managed to pull a Silver with a Twisp Clearo! But all's well that ends well - March 13 marks a year...

tl;dr - High airflow, no-leak RTA for TC

I recently started trying out the TC capabilities of my iStick TC60W, The stock Ti coil reduces the normally awesome airflow (with stock kanthal coils @ 0.3ohm) of the Melo2 to something which I can only describe as being tighter than a duck's arsehole. And, from what I've read about TC, you...

What I have learned about DIY e-liquid making, so far

If a factor 10 "overdose" of EM has no worse consequence than muted flavours, then I count myself one lucky SOB. Thanks, @RichJB !

    Melo 2 Ti Coil Airflow

thanks, @foGGyrEader Looks like I'll have to keep my eyes open for a good single coil RTA and some Ti and/or Ni200 and/or Ni80 wire, then...

What I have learned about DIY e-liquid making, so far

I'm hoping that this is what happens in my case. If my math is correct, I have 10 times as much EM in the juice as I'm supposed to have. (I used half a gram of PURE EM instead of half a gram of a 10% solution)

    Melo 2 Ti Coil Airflow

This weekend I decided to finally try using the temp control functionality of my iStick 60W using the Ti coil (at 0.5ohm) supplied with the Melo2 tank in the package. The airflow really sucks. I also seem to be getting juice on my tongue in the first second or so of my usual 3-5 second pulls...

What I have learned about DIY e-liquid making, so far

@RichJB The crystals have reacted a lot like sugar. Some have dissolved into the juice, but there are a few that are stubbornly refusing to dissolve - I'm guessing I've managed to go past the saturation point. They tend to settle out at the bottom of the bottle - that's of course when I manage...

What I have learned about DIY e-liquid making, so far

At the risk of stealing someone else's catchphrase, (@craigb - sorry...) Yesterday I learnt to konsentreer, poepol, konsentreer! Brother came over for a visit to chat about vaping and diy. I proceeded (as planned before the unannounced visit) to mix a 100ml batch of the monster melons clone...

    Single Flavour Juices

As is so often said on these forums, you guys are awesome! I bought my DIY starter kit with a scale and a bunch of flavours based on what I'd need for some of the highly rated recipes on eliquidrecipes. So I CAN make some multi-flavour recipes as Arno suggested. I am just interested in using...

    Single Flavour Juices

I am a relative noob to DIY mixing. (I'm working my way through my first batches of modified Monster Melons and Blue Voodoo clones) I was wondering if single flavour juices really are as simple as that - pick a concentrate, mix to a 3% (or so) ratio with PG, VG and whatever Nic concentration...
