I guess it comes down to what you're looking for. theres a paradigm shift thats taken place. it used to be that mechanical mods were the peak of power... thats now changed, there are regulated mods capable of pumping out 2500W. I think its just another reason, to go regulated.
So, i guess another question would be... Why don't mod makers, use for example the board from a evic vtc mini (i've seen them around and a about for between $15-25 each) way cheaper than boards from either YiHi or Evolv, and despite that, they're solid reliable boards. Then they can use a proper...
But hasn't this always been the case with perceived "HE" gear? Back in the days when tube mods were more popular, remember how expensive some of the authentic were? where as the clones, which were made with the same raw materials and tooling, were often less than 10% of the cost? Sure economy of...
DNA boards have been known to do the same exact thing, be warned. AFAIK the most reliable board around is the YIHI SX series of boards.
But @Spydro and @Silver nailed it. high end is less about cost, and more about just getting the job done, while having to endure as little hassle as possible.
TBH isn't like how it is with most enthusiast grade stuff?
Just because the price is higher and the materials are better, doesn't necessarily mean its better. in other words theres still some lemons to be had, that said when the stuff really is good, its really really good?
yup, i'll be there
Some garden furniture, and umbrellas out in the carpark to the left of the entrance would be really awesome for people to sit and talk kak, and build and stuff.
Honestly the troll v2 25mm, is an excellent RDA, easier to build on than the goon or messes, cheaper, and imo more versatile, can give you mad clouds or mad flavour, or a bit of both.
