Hey @RainstormZA , thanks so much for your interest. Everyone is cool, found wonderful homes/owners for 3 of the skolwanes and am keeping the 2 others. I leave tomorrow for UK and will miss them all very much. I was very upset as to how anyone could be so heartless to these pups, but my heart...
Yup, still have remnants of a bag of this in the cupboard. Worked fine with the subtank mini and was not at all expensive. Might try a rewick today just for the sake of nostalgia.
"Fancy printed "PIXIE" will not be to everyone's liking (subjective)" Yes indeed, graphics guy needs a kick up the a*se. Fancy script designed to be used in upper and lower case to simulate handwriting. Did I mention I was a little OCD when it comes to design? Nice review again @Timwis.
Thank you @Bulldog, and yes we are indeed keeping her. She has bonded with myself and my wife as we spoon fed her (literally) on Purity baby food and Pro Nutro for her first 10 days with us.
I was touched by the responses to my OP so thought an update would only be polite. I am happy to report the "skolwane sisters" are all doing well and are in good health. Second round of shots next week and then off to new homes for three of them. I did not give the tiny one much hope of being ok...
Interesting observation Dr. Rob. I have not owned an SM25 but still run an old sub tank mini on a Hana that I have owned for around 3 years and it still does the job on a daily basis. Perhaps we have reached a vaping plateau and are just trying to reinvent the wheel?
Thanks for replies guys. We refer to these dogs as "skolwanes" in Swaziland and they have a reputation for their resilience and general hardiness so lets hope for the best. Will keep you informed as to how they all get on.
Found these guys hiding in the sugar cane on the farm that I stay in a very bad state on Friday last week. They are all improving well, I am happy with their progress but still concerned about 2 of them. 5 females, I think some heartless swine has dumped them and left them to fend for...
Right there with you @Timwis. Watched a programme while I was back in UK showing highlights of The Old Grey Whistle Test (excellent old show featuring live bands and music first broadcast in the 70s) and recall thinking to myself that this is just a load of old gits talking about something that...
Mate, really nice to see you putting so much thought into pleasing your dad. There is so much stuff you can buy a guitar player but without knowing his set up or style I am cautious to suggest something he may not need or use. Perhaps sign him up for some online lessons? Most of the main...
Thanks good people, learned something today. Have been having issues with CBPrime breaking on my sub tank minis as mentioned, shall try less cotton as suggested and hope to come right.
Dr. Rob, Newcastle Brown Ale is now brewed in Holland? Nee way. Enjoy your trip. Will be flying back from Newcastle (England) next week and will treat meself to a pint of Newkie at airport.
