Hi, usually when a customer comes into the shop with the same dilemma as you we recommend the Smok RPM 80 pro. It's an external 18650 pod/mod. With a max Wattage output of 80W, small yet packs a pretty decent punch.

I know this is an old post, but could you perhaps explain how you striped it. I got a black one and would love to get it stripped but I'm a little sceptical just taking sandpaper and just going ham.

can relate, dropped two of mods and completely broke both the drip tips, luckily I use RDA's so no glass to worry about, but still a really cr@ppy feeling, especially seeing that I have to use my one and only 510 drip it on a RDA, and IMO it just looks wrong.:(:-D
