Where do the DIY builders buy their Wire?

Hey Guys and Gals

Where does everyone buy their Wire for building?
Ka-1 , Ni80 , SS?
Various thin guages like 34G - 42G and Cores such as Ribbon?

Im looking to stock up for my Daedalus and other building expeditions...

I am gonna pay attentio to this thread as i am also looking for 32&34 gauge wire

Sorry I can't help you. I buy my wire from FastTech about once a year. I am under the impression that serious builders don't touch Chinese wire.

Im also watching this with anticipation.
Looking for Kanthal Clapton, something smaller than 26/32 for the micro coils I make

[edit] want to try some 28/38 and it looks like I might have to make it.

There was a similar thread here some time back (??? 10 - 11 months ???) although I think it started off on a different question. From what I recall many high volume users bought from overseas suppliers and some were mentioned. Will search a bit later and see what comes up.

When I started building claptons and the likes I bought the large spools (500ft) of KP Ni80 for the wrap and 100ft for the cores from Vape Hyper. Good range and pricing. Still using the first batch of wire so I`ve not bought in a while. I also had a look at Vape Away, but they were sold out on most of the wire that I wanted at the time.

He is holding out on you buddy. I think he buys 150m spools. The only thing he buys in larger quantities is cotton

So far I rewicked 12 devices twice in 2 days... finished my first pack of royal wicks.

Currently playing with different coils etc to find the best flavour for different devices.
Think I started at 8pm this evening

I mainly buy from Lightning Vapes on eBay. Sometimes from the China sites(cheap prices).But I want to try Kidney Puncher as it's wire gets raves on this forum.

I have a way for you.
I do group buys and charge a small shipping fee.
