Those are fake.
Look at the top ring there is a large gap between the body shell and crimping of the positive end.

Authentics don't have that gap.

@George49 I'm not implying that you knew they are fake but I've seen alot of these fakes in the wild and it's very easy to spot.

@Seemo.wm I'll post a picture of my authentics and my fakes later today as a comparison.

You'll see the difference clearly.

I still use the fakes as I can't tell much difference in battery life tbh.

I wouldn't use them in a mech though and also don't go over 20w per cell so in my dual battery regulated mod I stick to 40w max so 20w per battery.
Using them like this they perform, subjectively, exactly the same as authentics.

Read the entire article. As @stevie g pointed out, the top gap is unusually large (between positive cap and negative body sections).

So you cant remember where exactly you got them from but it was some site overseas, maybe Amazon.

@George49 I am not the best with regards to memory etc and age isn't helping either but I currently have about 20 batteries in rotation and another 15 in my retired drawer and I have sold a few mods with batteries.

That being said, I can tell you exactly where each battery comes from and I can list all the people I have sold batteries to and where those batteries come from.
