So yesterday I received a Kayfun Lite clone by Yeahsmo I bought from VapeKing... needless to say I always get excited when getting new gear. During my lunch break I built her up with a 1.2 ohm coil and filled her up only to turn her right side up and have all 4ml of my precious Melinda's Nilla Custard all over my hands and pants... I opened her up only to find a busted o-ring whee the chimney meets the top cap... I replaced the top cap, re-built and filled her and then had the most magical vape I'd had in a long time (this is a really good clone)....
Later in the evening, on my way to band practice, I was vaping away with not a care in the world when all of a sudden there's no vape! I check my iStick and it's reading at 0.0 ohms
I try changing the atomizers to a Nautilus mini and the same thing... no firing, reading at 0.0 ohms.... so I get home from practice and start trawling the net... I eventually find a post where a guy had the exact same issue... The o-ring that fits underneath the positive 510 connection pin in the iStick is faulty. I took an o-ring from one of my mini screwdrivers (that I got with my kayfun clone) and fiddled with it until it was underneath the positive connection pin (it took a bit of fiddling), and now everything is sorted!
Needless to say yesterday was a day of mixed emotions when it comes to vaping!
I'm sure there are more vaping war stories out there, so I'd like to hear yours
