A Banksy tag on a NYC building clock inspired me to try my own little kitchen appliance hack.

I usually try out my designs on old pizza boxes first and this looked so good I coughed up R39.90 for an A3 sized triplex art board.

However, the white reflects a lot of the laser power leaving blank spaces before it accelerates up to speed, using the M4 gcode command.(dynamic power setting)
The M3 constant power mode tends to leave over burnt corners and places where direction/speed changes.

I tried some shading lines, but the 0.1mm beam burns right through the upper layer and didn't look acceptable at all.

Eventually on try no3 I figured I'd color it in with an artline 700 permanent marker instead and I'm well satisfied with the end result.
