Braai Check

My garden furniture definitely has done it's duty. Looking at getting a recycled plastic set next. So expensive though.

That's not vape steam. Ordered my new garden table and benches yesterday. One month to six weeks lead time and I've never seen it in real life or sat on it. Hope it's comfortable.

First braai on return from holiday and first braai on our new patio furniture.20240531_170134.jpg20240531_165458.jpg20240531_164320.jpg20240531_164222.jpg20240531_161344.jpg

Pork rashers and pork belly sosaties, toasties and salads. We've been braaing a bit earlier because it gets cold quickly but today was nice enough to sit outside and eat.20240614_160123.jpg20240614_155920.jpg20240614_153735.jpg

Did a double chicken braai in the Weber today. Leftovers for workers tomorrow and our dinner maybe tomorrow evening. Some Chicken livers and necks for snacks. A Sod Of Peat I bought back from Ireland just for interest. LOL.

I do love me a Weber chicken! I used to use the beer bird stand thing AND smoke them AND fill them with garlic! Was crazy good but over time the beer bird stand went missing so now its plain and simple birds on the Weber but they're always delicious!

Cheers. Christening my new braai stand. A bit of Guava wood to smoke with.

The Salt Slab in Currys Post is an American Smokehouse; the food was fantastic! The Pork Ribs were the highlight and out of this world!

Found some steak hiding in the freezer so it’s gonna be mushroom and onion chutney steak baguettes for dinner!
