So this happened this morning.

Gunmetal Ohmsium with Heat treated Faceplate and Tsunami 22 RDA

The hands tip to match just so happened to be in my posession already.

Did the same sort of thing to my Bellus and SVD.
Downside is that you loose corrosion resistance of the SS and it doesnt stay good looking for long.
After 6 months the airflow ring on the Bellus was much harder to operate and overall its turned a dirty brown color.
In hindsight not something I'd do again.

SVD today, dark patches are a form of corrosion, probably only 1200 grit wet/dry paper will sort it out to get to the base metal again.

Nothing a dremel polisher wont sort out. Will post time corrosion updates next month again.
