Hi all :)
So I decided to make a post just incase someone was stuck in the same situation I was , because I wish I had this knowledge at the time.

I used to smoke between 2 to 3 boxes of cigarettes a day and the one day I walked past the twisp store and decided why not.

I got a twisp edge and every month for 5 months I had to get the battery replaced as the bottom voltage adjuster would fall off if dropped even just off a couch... never the less, that was my own fault and I take responsibility for that. I always seemed to have problems with the coils though, after a week the coil would either give a burning taste or would be extremely difficult to pull through. Thinking twisp was a "top class" product, I think my expectations were too high.

At the beginning of the year I decided to take a different approach. I went to Vape Africa at N1 city and got the mini 50w sub ohm device. Even though I had been advised against it if the intentions were to give up smoking. Needless to say I still have the device and absolutely love it. Coming in at almost half the price of a twisp, coils cost the same , battery out performs the twisp ten love as well as durability was remarkable.
I have been using it for just under 6 months now and the battery still lasts me a full day easily, coils manage to get just over 200ml of their vape light 3mg liquids through them before having to change them. I've dropped the device multiple times and to me it is like the 3310 of egics.

Twisp does have some decent flavours but I find that those liquids are the main reason of the coils failing. I must say I am very pleased with the 16mg and 3mg flavours from Vape Africa as there is such a huge range to choose from. Obviously everyone has their specific taste for liquids but I seem to enjoy multiple of them.

I then went further and got the ego aio from them. Excellent device as well. Coils manage to get about 120ml through them, battery lasts for 2 days and also a very robust design.

I know everyone is going to have alot to say and I know there are many more devices which will out perform these which I have mentioned. But for me price was important and the fact that the devices which I have bought are effortless to maintain and so user friendly I decided to give credit where credit is due.

I hope someone finds this helpful as I wish I had spent my thousands at Vape Africa instead of at twisp.

Happy Vaping :)

Most welcome to the forum. Thank you for sharing your experience, which is not unlike that of many other members.

Most congrats on kicking the stinky habit, which is the most important part.

Happy vaping.
