I want to try one of these builds this weekend .. @Achmat89 I presume the single kanthal strand in between the Clapton helps to make ramp up time quicker .. ?

Hey bud, yes it does. Ramps up much quicker compared to just clapton.

Nichrome turns green when continuously fired at high power. To get those colors popping nicely, pulse your coils at low wattages and then one quick pulse at like 50w

No problem... yeah and it eats battery life because it takes so long to ramp up.
The flavour is going to be awesome trust me. what dripper you using for this build?

@Necris ...Why Nichrome? first time I've seen it used like this.. where do you get that thick gauge ?

I also recall the old CE4 type 1.8-2.4ohm Nichrome coils were not very tasty compared to equivalent kanthal coils

Was given a piece at last vape meet.think it was bought from a place called element man.
Was just building for clouds yesterday. To moved away from the fused claptons .flavour is about the same.coil burns cotton by the 3rd hit when using it staged with a clapton.such a long cooldown

Nothing special but 24g Kanthal 11 wraps dual at 0.4ohms.
The most dense vape up to date for me.

Nice and neat @Alex .. those tend to work the best..

here's my attempt at a single Clapton parallel with 24 gauge , ended up on 0.4ohm .. ramp up time is better.. cool down time maybe a bit long .. but very nice thick tasty vapor.. next time I might try a wrap or two less.

Got that single Clapton parallel in the Baal on the Invader 0.4 @ 50W .. I can just imagine a double on a T8 or SnowWolf or the like... that would just be insane
