* Item being sold: Minikin V2 (180W) with 2 x pink Samsung 30Q batteries.

* Selling Price: R1000

* Condition of the item: 8/10 has been converted to raw. Has a few dings here and there. (Bought it like that of the forum)

* Age of the item: +/- 6 months. Bought it from a forum member.

* Location: Cape town (Kuilsriver)

* Delivery/Collection: Both (would prefer collection)

* Reason(s) for selling: Its a bit bulky for my liking. Great device but for me riding a bike to work and back with work pants its just a tad bulky. Looking for something a bit more pocket friendly.

I bought the item a week or two ago on the forum. Its a nice upgrade from my pico. I like the power. The only reason for me selling the device is its a bit bulky. It feels super nice in your hands but in work pants on a motorcycle its not the best feeling. I either have to loose weight/wear bigger clothing or sell the device. Hopefully selling it is the easier option.

Honesty section. I opened the device to fix the "squishy" firing button. Now it clicks lekka and you don't have to worry about auto firing issues.

@Franky3 How did you fix the squishy button? I have 4 minikins and the oldest one is not a very positive click. I think Asmodus changed the design after launch as my newer ones are nice n clicky...

I watched a video or two on youtube about auto firing minikins. While mine didn't auto fire I really wanted it to click.

So in the video the guy explain what to do and what to be careful for. Long storie short. Between the firing button and the actual clicky button on the pc board is a piece of foam. Why the decided to put it there I don't know. In the video the piece of foam is stuck to the firing button but on mine it was stuck to the actual clicky button. I peeled the foam off and replaced the firing button. Now it clicks nicely.

I still have the foam. Don't ask me why. The hardest part of the whole process was breaking that warranty seal. But it was worth it.

Thanks @Franky3 - They usually put a piece of foam or silicon around these micro switches for cusioning and to stop button rattle. Maybe the first ones were a little harder.

Hey man I think ur price may be a bit high.. for a device that's not original in PAINT and had been OPENED R1000 is a bit steep.. I sold my original near new with batteries for R800

Also condition is nowhere near 8/10.. more like a 4 or 5 if u lucky.. ur description is honest but does nt match up with condition rating and price

Would it sweeten the deal if I added a Tsunami 22 RDA or a Ammit 22 RTA?
