By now everybody must have heard of the supply chain woes. Getting them goodies here for you at a price that won't raise the hairs on your neck, if you have any, is proving to be, well, a tad difficult.
Shipping costs have doubled and tripled, that is if you can actually get a spot on a plane. And the goods to the plane. And off the plane. And through customs. And delivered. Ahhh, delivered, 'tis truly a wet dream.
So I will continue to try and nail this chunk of jelly to the wall.
Without having to raise prices too much.
This is not just a Christmas rush thing, this is a serious breakdown in the supply chain. Expect it to continue into the new year, empty shelves and serious inflation.
I have a parcel that's been lying at origin airport for two months now.
But there is some good news.
I still have half a bottle of Johnny Walker Double Black.
