Hello A&M team

So over the last few weeks, I have noticed that retailer feeedback on the 'who has stock' threads has been poor.

After thinking about it, it could perhaps come down to poor visibility in that there is no way to distinguish which posts are related to 'who has stock' from the supporting vendor tab on the main page.

My suggestion is that perhaps it would be beneficial to both consumers and retailers if a seperate tab was created for this on the main page. That way, vendors would be able to get a wholistic view of the 'who has stock' threads and hopefully respond to them.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the suggestion @Yiannaki
We will take this onboard and will consider it amongst the team.

In the meantime, may I suggest to all vendors
Just bookmark the following page:
http://www.ecigssa.co.za/who-has-stock.f68/

That will give you all the latest threads in the "Who has stock" subforum

We encourage vendors to keep a lookout on the titles of these threads and respond on them to help members and potentially increase sales. Remember that if you are helpful in these threads other members will be more inclined to look at your offerings in future.

Another suggestion to members, please make your thread titles as descriptive as possible - so it helps the vendors to quickly scan and see if they can help out.

A possible simpler solution (should vendors agree) is to have all supporting vendors receive an email notification each time a new thread is created under the "Who has stock" category. Basically, vendors will "watch thread" by default.

Is it possible to create a "@vendors" tag which will include all local vendors when asking about a specific item? As per above post cant a vendor just unwatch a thread?

Thanks @Vino1718 for the suggestion - but tagging all vendors is not applicable to many product requests.

The best course of action for members wanting to use the Who has stock subforum is as follows:
  • Create a new thread in the Who has stock subforum
  • Use a title that is as descriptive as possible
  • In your post, perhaps tag a few vendors that you know might be potential stockers of the item
