Hi Rob,
As with most rebuildable accessories, they are now classed as Unobtainium.
I have in the past made up something similar, and if I can lay my hands on a set of M7 * 0.5 taps, (my main tap has gone to tap heaven I'm afraid), will gladly make up one for you, albeit that the ones I have made in the past are for atty's only.

It may work, however it'd be a bit risky as it'd only have some 4-5mm of a threaded section held by the chuck
