Hi @Sickboy77 most mods that are in daily use especially if they your everyday carry mod, eventually will show signs of wear and tear.
Most people will just get then wrapped then to hide this.

Mine gets the odd paint nic when not using it silicone cover, but I haven't seen any peeling. I would assume bad workmanship or some sort of substance has reacted with the paint to cause this.
Yea true, my subox did the same. It doesnt really bother me as its in a sleeve, but still get bummed when I see my gear chip and peel
