Great event guys. Thank you's to the organizers and Vendors, it was great fun, to see a lot of new faces and lots of regulars.
I had a blast bringing along my brother-in law who isn't a vaper but I am going to convert him soon, just need to get hime some stock coils for the zephyrus, so that i can piff him with a sigelie 50w and the zephyrus to start off we had fun chatting to the new guys and girls and had a blast sitting with the coil builders and just watching how everybody had their devices built up.
Special thanks to @shaunnadan for the cool multi-post atty which I will try and build up this weekend and post the build once complete.
Overall we had fun, even though it was cold, the long island's warmed us up and kept us going throughout the afternoon, just a pity we had to leave at around 16:30, i still had to prepare to have a few guests over at my place for a planned family social.

What a great vape meet. We had such a fabulous and fun time.
Just want to thank all the attendees for braving the cold and joining on the day. I met a lot of new people and enjoyed chatting to most of the regulars.
Was so awesome to have @n0ugh7_zw there from Zimbabwe and @BumbleBee from Tzaneen. Thanks for making the effort guys.
Big thanks to the vendors on the day. @JakesSA , @VapeGrrl from VapeClub and @KieranD from VapeCartel. You guys rock big time. I laughed (and sort of cringed) when I saw you guys carrying in the big crates of juice and gear. But glad the day was worth it for you. You guys seemed to be busy from the time you arrived to the time you packed up.
Congrats to all the winners of the DIY juice commpetition and the winners of the random draw prizes. Glad to see some of you exchanging those vouchers immediately for vape gear !
Finally a big thanks to the organisers who helped with all the preparations. @Yiannaki and @Paulie, you guys are legends!
Overall it was a great vibe and a successful fun vape meet. I enjoyed it thoroughly and saw plenty smiles on people's faces.

EDIT2 - forgot to thank the retailers for coming to the party with donating the prizes. Obviously, the two that were selling on the day (VapeClub and VapeCartel) but also to @Mike from Mikes Mega Mixes for the vouchers and to @Stroodlepuff from Vapeking for the vouchers and the drippers for us judges to judge the DIY entries. Thanks guys.

Just a few photos I took on the day
Here's @Paulie first thing in the morning while we were setting up. Of course, one of his monstrous setups with plumes of strawberry yoghurt flavour if I recall correctly. I think the NewsCafe manager got worried when he saw this.
This was our roll up banner that was expertly designed by @BumbleBee. He also designed the JHB Vape Meet logo and made our Tshirts. Thanks so much @BumbleBee! We put the banner at the entrance of the place and found a spot where it wouldn't blow away.

The venue was a great one. Lots of space. Good light and ventilation. That's @Paulie with the big cloud in this photo.
Here is @n0ugh7_zw at the coil building table. These guys had all the tools and all the tips and tricks. They were helping new vapers to build awesome coils.

None other than PIF Boss @shaunnadan in one of his characteristic situations. Always trying to help and explain - with a great smile that makes everyone feel welcome
@KieranD, @Yiannaki and @Paulie. The smiles were on people's faces most of the day. The red Colour in this photo was from the infrared heaters. This was later in the evening.

I would just like to say thank you for one hell of a fun afternoon as a noobie this meeting was very very very helpful i had a gazzilion questions and they all got answered with hey no problem let me show you or here have a toot on this and tell me what you think or hey that subox mini is a cool little device can i try a toot
It was fantastic to actually meet all the people face to face and is really great now having a face to match to a name on here one thing i did notice and that was the best of all was how much the vaping community stand together and have fun together i was treated like i have been a friend for years that was gone for ages and come back and these people did not know me for a bar of soap
I will definitely recommend that anyone who vapes and has not been to a vape meet to GET TO ONE you are missing out big time
I have a few thank you's and they go to the guys and gals that did the organizing it was superb to the two vendors you need to forgive me i can't remember the names but you guys rocked answering my questions an all the advice especially being able to taste a lot of juices as my palette was restricted to a few juices i had in the past this has opened up my eyes to all the juices out there
a special thank you to @Yiannaki for making me coils for my Sapor dripper I'm loving it as well as thank you to @Silver it was great meeting you and giving me great advice as well as @BumbleBee and @Lim we had a great chat and was cool meeting you all and hope to see you all at the next meet
