So, as I have mentioned on this forum before, I love my Tesiyi batteries but alas after a few years of hard use they are now also coming to an end. Where to find more in SA? Nowhere! So I decided to go straight to the source, Tesiyi themselves, or their site rather.

Long story short, I am planning on buying some batteries straight from them and want to find out who's in with me so we can do a group buy and thus divide the shipping costs ($18) between a number of us.

Now something interesting I read on their site is that they developed their IMR batteries specifically to be used for vaping! Yes, like in the concentrate world where Flavorah developed their flavourants specifically to be used for vaping, so has Tesiyi done the same with their batteries. Now you may wonder why I mentioned "IMR" earlier, and I refer you to the following information:
https://www.tesiyi.com/blogs/commun...tronic-cigarette?_pos=16&_sid=ff8134324&_ss=r

With this in mind, if you want to join the group buy and you specify any battery other than a IMR battery, you better have a very good reason for me to want to include it as, when it comes to batteries, I am all about safety.

I will give this post to, say, next Friday (19/06/2020) before I place my order. I'm in. Are you?

Hey Ivc... i would like to slot in, but here is the challenge... im wanting 20650's.
Not sure if they stock them... let me know bud....

For reference, so everyone does not need to go to the site:
18650 x 3000mAh x 35A = $8.99, current exchange rate: R153.08
18650 x 3100mAh x 60A = $12.99, current exchange rate: R221.19
18650 x 2100mAh x 40A = $8.99, current exchange rate: R153.08
21700 x 4000mAh x 40A = $13.99, current exchange rate: R238.22
26650 x 5200mAh x 60A = $10.99, current exchange rate: R187.14 (note, these are ICR, not IMR but are the only 26650's they have)

5 x 18650 x 3000mAh x 35A = $8.99, current exchange rate: R153.08 please.

If I remember correctly Mooch says that the amps on Tesiyi batteries are overstated. In most cases, the mah which are stated are reasonably accurate.

He maintains that no 18650 exists with a continuous output over 30A.

Take a look at this video around 10mins in.

I know that you are a very experienced and safety-conscious vaper, but I wouldn't want to see a noob using a single battery mech and doing coil calculations on a 60A rating.

My stock!

Really good batteries but take those ratings with a pinch of salt. Hate batteries not having their continuous amps listed as most go by this for safety and some could quite easily compare a 30Q at 15A to the Tesiyi 18650 3100mAh 60A and stick one with a low build in a mech with disastrous results, a 60A 18650 there goes another pink elephant! :elefant:

The continuous amps are also on the batteries as well as maximum amps and like i said i find them decent batteries but even going by their claimed continuous amps rather than the garbage listed (which is also overstated) and mAh every bench test i have seen by Mooch for their various batteries have a consistent verdict, decent batteries but not what's claimed!

Sorry, i was typing my reply and you beat me too it, totally have the same misgivings

Interestingly enough, on their site they state that the continuous output is 25A, so they have the details more correct now:

These batteries still last me the longest per day and also they give full power to the last drop of available % power left.

Did you order directly from them? Are you reselling or is it personal stock? I so desperately want more!
For my use but i would imagine it would be cheaper delivery from China than the UK anyway.

FYI for those who want to order:
I'm making a list of all the names and that which you want to order. Next Friday I will confirm said list on the group and then send each of you a DM with the final price (Rand Dollar exchange rate wise and shipping equally divided by all who order) along with my banking details. Once a payment has been confirmed, I will place the order and inform each of you accordingly re shipping times, etc. as quoted on the site as well as tracking numbers.

They do last! Best batteries I have used, and I have had Sony's, Samsung, etc. etc.

I will take

6 x 18650 x 3000mAh x 35A = $8.99, current exchange rate: R153.08

Need new bats and the price is good

Thanks Adriaan

Hi Adriaan.
Just to confirm/correct...
18650 x 2100mAh x 40A = $ 4.99 as per site.?
If correct I will take 6.
Thanks buddy.

Yoh yoh, well just in case someone actually thinks "21000" it is obviously "2100". Wish I could join this party.
