So I recently came up to Cape Town and in a rush and worried I'd be stopped with all my gear , I decided to leave my building supplies and juice at home and just bring along my mod. I was planning on visiting Vape Cartel not knowing of the great shop *Foggas* just around the corner from me.

So I messaged @whatalotigot after seeing the shop on my way to an appointment.
I was in search of a bottle of juice and a new build to get me through the week.
So I went in later in the afternoon and was blown away by the place !!
Juice tasters , couch's, TV'S playing vape videos and really friendly staff.
I tasted a whole bunch of flavours and chatted a whole lot of vape while I got a sweet build (FREE of charge)!

So being from the East rand I was used to smaller shops but this one just blew them all out of the water. Really really friendly and helpful staff ! Also I liked to see an all local juice selection which is a big thumbs up for me! Good selection of equipment as well.
The juice tasting was one of the best parts to me as I could taste every and any flavour I wanted before I purchased it!

So overall this is one of the best shops I've been to , wish I could stay right next door! So if your in Cape Town message @whatalotigot and get yourself there right now ! Sorry I didn't take pics but all the reason to go see it in person!

so I know I run the risk of sounding biased but I feel tht credit needs to be given where it's due.

Since its opening not to long ago I have been a frequent visitor to foggas vaoe lounge in claremont. Was there for the pre launch...launch...grand opening..basically any excuse I get to pop in there I take it.

I have to honestly say tht from the very first time I entered the store the atmosphere is one of warmth and friendliness that is second to none. The staff in the store are phenomenonal and really go tht extra mile to make one feel at home and relaxed enough to spend hours there chilling chatting vaping...

To prove my point...I introduced my brother to vaping about 2 weeks ago now. So I set him up with an ijust 2 kit and he wanted to try out some juices. This was at about 8:45 pm and I figured we can maybe get a taste or 2 at foggas before they closed. Well when we got there they were already jn the process of cashing up but instead of turning us awy, they graciously opened up the store and spent the next hour chatting and trying juices so that he could choose something. ..tht my friends is out standing service in my book...

So I just wanted to salute the guys at foggas for an awesome.store great selection of juices and some freaking amazing staff.

It is definitely a place that feels like home

Need a foggas in Joburg... actually that might be a bad idea because I'd be broke and wouldn't see anyone except for the crew at foggas 24/7
 
I fully agree.. All I wish I can get to Foggas MORE OFTEN .. With my hectic work schedule I've only been there thrice since opening.. but already it feels like a 2nd home. . Big ups to the awesum friendliness advice and juice tasting and to mark for his awesum building and wicking skillz.. u guys Rock.. for real

About a week and a half ago I bought a Cuboid mod and a Moonshot tank from Foggas. Andre assisted me through all my questions and quirks and pickyness, but I ended up being extremely happy with my setup.

Then on Friday, my mod started acting up, not picking up atomizers, showing incorrect battery levels, becoming warm, etc. Went back to Foggas yesterday with it in hopes to get it either repaired or replaced. @whatalotigot spent about 10 minutes trying different atomizers and batteries, before concluding that there is nothing to be done other than send it back, and gave me a new mod off the shelf. So stoked!

What I love even more about Foggas is their vast range of flavours to try out. I'm very picky when it comes to flavours, so getting to experience them before buying is perfect. Monique and @whatalotigot assisted me through 20+ flavours, patiently putting atomizer after atomizer on their tester mod.

Keep it up guys! You guys rock :)

I visited Foggas Vape Lounge recently and I must say that this is a real professional outfit.

1. Firstly, the place is CLEAN.
2. It is huge compared to the other vape stores I have visited.
3. The decor is great - nice stools at the juice testing area, comfortable couches on another side, items for sale nicely set out, TV's playing vape videos, etc,. The place just looks smart.
4. From the moment you walk in, the place has an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness and a feeling of "I am home".
5. Good selection of equipment.
6. Great selection of juices and I could taste any flavour before purchasing it.
7. Hygienic tasting procedure
8. Friendly and patient staff that are prepared to really be of assistance.

Regarding point 7 above:
When you test the juices, they give you a new, sealed plastic/rubber mouthpiece :--) which you then use on all the different atomizers/clearomizers that have all the different juices in them, so you are not "sharing spit" with others.

The reason why I highlight this particular aspect is because I also visited another well-known vape store on the same day and the owner was passing around a single dripper and everyone was using the same mouthpiece without it even being cleaned/replaced as it was passed along.

So FOGGAS really impressed me and while I did not have a lot to spend, I did buy a couple of juices since the place just makes you feel like you want to support them.

Unfortunately I forgot the name of the lady that assisted me (I also forgot my bottle of water that I was using so that I could keep my mouth fresh for each new juice). I see from the earlier posts here that @whatalotigot is the manager of the place. Not sure if I met you when I visited your place, but your staff are great.

WELL DONE FOGGAS, I hope my post will encourage others to visit and support your store.

Agree 100% with everything here.
Southern Suburbs needed a place like this. Pity I moved to the North shortly afterwards.
 
"FOGGA'S Vape Lounge" is just the best vape shop in Cape Town....HANDS DOWN!!!
Ive personally been to all the others so far in the cape & non have the amount of Expertise, Good Vibes, Professionalism & Helpfulness than that of FOGGA's. Ive been going there since and have trusted them with all my Vape needs.

- Oh and one of the single most coolest things about the place is the damn people that work there...& and having become close friends with them.

@whatalotigot - I have only visited a few vape stores in Cape Town so I can't pass judgement regarding the best store, but based on what @Shannon Els said in her comment, just some advice that I read somewhere on the net
- It's easier to reach the top than it is to STAY ON TOP.

So keep striving to do better (don't become lax) and the customers will keep streaming in.

Am in CT for work. Was a very busy day but got a gap to go visit the Foggas Vape Shop for my first time.

Under new ownership and management by the very capable @DizZa and had a good chat with him and his team.

Was surprised at just how many GREAT local juices they stock. Winners from so many of the local names. And ALL their juices are available to test out.

It's a great shop, great people and I can recommend it highly.

Well done @DizZa and team. Wishing you all the best going forward.

@Rob Fisher better pull out some antiques from "noahs ark" (if memory serves me) to compete.
