Just had a 2nd batch of v2 coils that seem to be duds.

Using it with the atlantis 1 which is supposedly supported, tried with my istick 50w & the aspire cf mod - very poor vapour production & flavour - and it gets VERY hot.

This is the 3rd coil in a row thats done this - am I missing something or has aspire quality control gone down the tubes?

Hi buddy

This site indicates that you should not use v2 coils in v1.

https://www.ukecigstore.com/aspire-sub-ohm-coils-5-pack.html

Aspire's challenge to the sub ohming world comes in the shape of their new Sub Ohm coils, for use with the Atlantis Tank. With a coil resistance level of 0.3, 0.5 and 1.0 ohms, Aspire are attempting to mimic the impressive performance of RDA's in a tank.

PLEASE NOTE: THE ATLANTIS V2 SUB-OHM COILS ShOULD NOT BE USED WITH THE ATLANTIS V1 TANK

aha so i got some bad info from a "vape shop" again

The first one was actually broken though - badly wired.

The others just sucked :p

Rather stick with the 0.5's. The 0.3 coils are a bit underwhelming below 50W. Too thick gauge IMO. Not amused overall, even when pushing over 50W. Currently just going through my 0.3 pack to finish them and rebuild for nickel instead.

Yeah I had to rebuild some coils just to be able to use the atlantis, the 0.3 were a no-go on the v1.
