I've had a pioneer ipv8 for around 4 months now, and it recently started auto firing.

First, it didn't switch onn, tested alternate batteries, still nothing.

It finally switched onn, but started auto firing. Tried various atomizers, same story.

Took it back to where I purchased it, they gave me a sad story about it being over 3 months, the warranty is only 3 months. It has been sent to the supplier, apparently will take 4-6 weeks to get a response, if it can be repaired, if wil be for my account.

I'm terribly disappointed with this, the mod alone cost me R1650. Don't even care to replace it, don't want another episode like this.

Anyone else have issue with a pioneer ipv8?
What's a good place to buy from, that won't give me stories after just 4 months. Surely these things are meant to work longer. My mod is still like new, never dropped.

It could be that there is juice on and inside the firing switch on the board. That was the problem with my IPV5 and drying it out worked for me.

Thanks @hands, I hope it's as simple as that. Will just have to wait and see.

So got a reply from Vape King.

They have decided to replace the mod.

Well done Vape King. Awsome service.

I'll stick to supporting the brand.
