So that explains why a single kanthal coil with an extra wrap actually takes more battery life to do it's job vs one with 5 wraps because you've taken away some of the resistance. No wait.. I'm more confused than ever now :facepalm: Why don't they just say conductivity lol the whole resistance thing is logically backwards to me because more means less and visa versa..

You can look at it this way, more wire you have, the more power you need to heat it up.
Resistance is only one of the parameters.
 
The one I don't get is the ohms drop rather than climb when you add more coils.

Two coils in parallel setup basically act as one ticker wire (resistance drops).
Two coils in serial setup act as one longer wire (resistance increases).

That really is a great video for Ohms law!

Haha a reply to the end part. Yeah we use wires for resistors and make it useful by vaping!
