First Pre-heat coil

Decided to give the pre heat coil a try today.
Not sure if that's the correct name for it but just did it!
Used 26gauge ni80 and 26 gauge Clapton wire! Quite impressed with it, ohms ended up on 0.16

The top coil looks white hot mid bottom center.. .
That's a loose temp for metals.

Try to get them perfectly synchronised heating.

That's neat work, I have to struggle with these type of builds.How's the flavor and ramping?

Looks great @Silver. Not sure what the correct terminology for them is. I've made them for a couple of years and have referred to them as
unsymmetrical or asymmetrical parallel coils. That referring to that they are 2 different gauge/types of wires wrapped parallel instead of two of the same wire wrapped parallel.

Flavor is pretty good, ramp up time is minimal because the ni80 heats up and then the claptons so it's quite quick
