The Vaping Community in SA is all for self-regulation, and we are looking for what you all consider to be the Gold Standards for Vape Shops, Juice Makers, and distributors.

In the absence of regulation and with so many vape stores popping up online and physically, what do you look out for to consider calling a vape business quality, compliant, trustworthy etc?

In my humble opinion I would definitely rate BLCK Vapour as Gold standard.

Service is always excellent and products are of good quality. Any issues with orders, in my experience, is sorted out in a heartbeat.

If a company makes their own juices, I'd like to know they were made in a clean environment, following the necessary safety protocols.

And if they sell batteries, I like to know they've done their homework on the source - to ensure they're not selling fakes

C'mon Sliver, dont be like that.
Everybody knows Dr Crimmy made a lekker Banana Pudding next to the toilet. :giggle:

On a serious note.
Id say the staff at Juicy Joes, both Tableview and Durban Rd (The Bridge) should be the staff template for a vape shop.

If a wide eyed youngster fresh from school doesnt know what a RDA is, doesnt even have to be "a Citadel", then Im wondering whats the possibility that Im going to get correct and pertinent info.

My 5c worth! For me, it's the history of the organisation... Are they trustworthy, are they in it to save lives and make a living, or are they just in it for the money? After a while, it becomes easy to distinguish between them. Service levels count big time, of course. A clean environment for juice makers. Do they support VPASA and adhere to its guidelines?
