Before I get started I know that this was due to my carelessness but I'm gonna share the story anyway.
I had a Minkin V2(Black). The top of the mod started peeling and I was thinking of stripping it to sand and spray eventually.
I took my RDA off. Took the battery cover off. Took the batteries out. Unscrewed the four screws that hold the battery section in. I noticed that to take the screen and button out was going to be a hell of a lot of work so I decided to abort mission. I started screwing the battery holder back in. Put the batteries back in and noticed there wan't any power.
I took the batteries and felt they were getting very hot, something was wrong. I eventually was informed that when screwing the battery holder back I screwed directly into the live wire. So when putting the batteries in creating a short and fried the mod. I am luckily nothing exploded or went south.
Moral of the story don't strip mod's unless you know what you are doing and aren't stupid like I was lol
