Hi all
As you know we now stock the monster of a tank called the CCI Triforce 30mm Executive edition.
It uses 0.2 ohm replaceable kanthal coils that perform incredibly well but some guys do want a more cost effective option to allow them to build their own coils.
We do have the RBA coils ready to go on sale by the 15th +-.
They feature a large build deck with velocity style posts. Easy to build and wick.
Currently, we are in the final stages of testing these to ensure that we can give you the best advice on wicking and coil builds.
So far we can happily push it to 85w with a NiCr80 build at 2.5mm ID. Will be testing the 3mm ID from tonight to see if we can get the wicking to be more effective which should allow for some more power to be pushed into the coils.
Feedback on airflow. Not bad at all. Obviously due to the nature of the RBA it does cut the airglow of the tank a bit. It is around the same as closing the airflow down to about 50%. Doesn't mean it's cutting the performance by 50% though.
Keep an eye on this thread for more photos and feedback.
