Today I share my thoughts on the new FreeMax GEMM 25W Pod Kit.

This device is designed to be lightweight, ergonomic, and flavour orientated. It is suited for both MTL and DL, freebase and Nic salts.
It has mesh coils and Freemax’s unique tea fibre wicking. It is said to allow 10-20 refills effortlessly.
I have used some of the gunkiest Nic salts and I can attest to the longevity of the tank, but boy oh boy the flavour is the biggest factor for me. These tanks deliver.
It comes available in 4 colours
Now let’s take a look at the box, which also shows contents and specifications.
I was also provided with some replacement tanks/pods
Upon opening the box you are greeted with the usual manual, warranties and warnings. It seems this device should not be used while charging
Once the papers were out of the way, I was greeted with this red ranger, as well as some spare tank covers.
First impressions were that this device is really light, and I was not too sure. I tested its stability and it stands firm. But once it started disappearing in my pocket or gym towel, I learnt the advantage of the light weight.
So I screwed on the 1ohm coil being the nic salts fan I am, left to prime for a few minutes then took my first drag. I really was astounded by the amazing flavour this tank provided. I spent some time playing with the wattage to see what worked best for me. Wattage is adjusted by clicking the power button 3 times.
The air is adjustable on the 1ohm coil from restricted lung to tight-ish MTL. I like my salts in restricted lung.
The 0.5ohm coil provides great flavour and good cloud production.
The battery indicator shows either 100% (76%-100%), 75% (75%-51%), 50% (50%-26%) 25% (24%- flat).
I find the indicator to be accurate and the lifespan to be almost 2 full days with the 1ohm coil when used exclusively.
Pros:
Would I recommend to an experienced vaper? Yes, I have been using it as a primary device for a while ad am enjoying it. It will make a good backup for those so inclined.

- Some may find the weight or plastic feel off-putting or unattractive- Subjective.
- Drip tip is fixed but comfortable
