How good is the clone with direct lung hits?
Also what is the flavour like?

It is a mouth to lung atty.Airflow is better than RM2. Flavor is good because of the small size.

I only used it once so didn't really play around with different Builds.

I want to take it but I don't do MTL. Do you think it could be used for direct hits even if the draw was tight? I'm talking about a conservative direct hit.

It should fit in a LP reo?

Yes.It fits on LP reos. You should be able to do lung hits.

Did you manage to get a rogue bf atty?

Yes, I got the rogue bf.
Is it a similar draw to the rogue?

Can you send me a pic of the post of the atty?
I'm curious how do they secure a coil.

Thanks @Silver. I read those last night.
My understanding is that it's best for MTL but you can use it for lung hits.
I'm going to get it anyways because I have been looking for a small atty for a while and I think the flavour will be good to.

Pleasure
Let us know how it works as a "restricted lung hitter"

Thanks @SAVapeGear. I'm quite impressed with the chalice. Lungs hits are slightly restricted but I find just breathing in slower works beautifully.
I'm loving the size it just gets a little hot.

Wanted to put 24 awg in it but decided against it because it's such a tricky build.

Puled out the 28awg and built a 2.5mm I'd 1.4 ohm coil.

Flavour is rather refreshing and cloud production is rather good.

I'll try 24 awg when I'm used to the build.

@Silver @Andre ,
A drip tip with minor airflow makes the chalice perfect.

Once again @SAVapeGear thanks for the atty and thank you for the extra battery wraps you threw into my other purchases today.

It's nice to feel like I am your only customer. I'll definately be buying from you again.

Mods feel free to move this post to the SAVapeGear review thread.

P.s. I'll let everybody know how your ribbon kanthal performs once I have tried it.

I went with my normal builds just to see how the chalice is with flavour before I use the cotton bacon and the ribbon kanthal.

Great stuff. I am a Chalice fan, but only do MTL. Good to know it is good enough for direct to lung with that drip tip.

I'm now a chalice fan too.

Feels like I'm moving backwards on my vaping journey but I like to see it as I'm getting more refined.

Getting better flavour from a 1.4 ohm build in the chalice clone than the velocity and derringer. Haven't built over an ohm in over 2 years.

Maybe I'm just getting to that age where I just want my nic hit and everything else doesn't matter.

I'm growing up :D

That is funny and I also agree, have too moved up with the resistances lately. Running at around 0.8 on the single coil Chalice and RM2. Use them to vape my complex juices for the best flavour experience - also the Cyclops on duals with 1.5mm ID coils. The Rogues on duals for more simple flavours.

I find the rogue muted for complex flavours but it shines as a ADV atty with a fruit I. E. Peach.
Simple no leak atty that is consistent and reliable.

Let me clarify. I'd rather have a consistent atty than one that performs on off.
I'm a firm believer of consistent.
