Stainless steel round wire

I recently started using TC with a few of my MTL RTA's with a DNA 60c mod, excellent results. Used 28g SS316 wire. Anyone know of a local retailer which stocks SS round wire? Thanks

I have found some, but not easily, and every time I found any I bought the last stock.

what I can say is that there is a coil maker named @charln that makes great Coils. he has made me some custom coils for Temp control.

that being said, temp control for MTL works great, but when you start using SS on RDL the coils do not last at all.

if you can use NI80 or NI90 for temp control without having an allergy to NI then rather go with that. its easer to get, and the coil lasts longer.
SS "falls off" and then flavor is gone. where NI does not do the same thing.


with SS you need to get the coil tempered and then after that you get it working nicely, with RDL after about 4 weeks there is a point where the flavor just goes away, the vape tastes like nothing. you rewick and clean and then you have flavor for half a tank, and then suddenly it drops again.

I have not had the opportunity to try TI. but I do want to.
NiFe that dicodes use is definitely the best material for temp control. provided you do not have a nickel allergy
