Hi everyone!

So my dinky little Ohm Reader recently died and I'm thinking I should spring for a decent multimeter rather than replace my one-trick-pony ohm reader.

Any advice on what to look for when buying? And recommendations as to where to find one at a decent price?

Hmmm I would have both a multimeter is a big unwieldy thing with leads to carry around and its easier to check resistance with an ohm meter quickly. The dedicated ohm meter also gives you a nice stable build platform. A hobby multimeter is about R150 but a proper accurate one will cost you a bit 1k over. I got a knock around multimeter and a decent set of leads cost more than the meter, the test leads that come with those are crap.
