Hi All,

I am based in Australia however coming to SA in a few weeks and wanted to get a package sent to a friend of mine. Package coming from New Zealand of some Nicotine Salts that are only available there. Not a big parcel, just 360 ml in total. Package would be sent by DHL

I have been looking up the customs rules but am a bit confused. Is it just a matter of paying the excises or does the person that it is going to have to register as an importer, apply for an import permit etc ?

Thanks

why don't you just carry them on your person when you come ?

He is in Australia, where everything vape is banned. He wants juice from New Zealand.

@Jaff, shipping juices can be problematic. Well, it is from the USA. If New Zealand is happy to ship juice, then all that will happen when it arrives is that duty and VAT will be applied. Whatever you do, make sure you ship by COURIER. The postal system in SA is broken!
