Howdy guys.

So I decided to pull my limitless Gold apart and give it a good wash.

When the time came to empty the sink I didn't realise I had left the long 510 pin in there and it go sucked down the drain along with the water.

Needless to say I'm pretty bleak with myself right now :(

Anyway. Does anyone have a limitless gold they would like to sell?

I'm based in Bedfordview by night and Krugersdorp by day.

Hey man.. did u try to pop off the elbow under the zinc. All heavy items will collect in there so chances are good that it's sitting in there

If you are lucky, there is a U pipe made of flex PVC under the sink that can be detached with a screwdriver - Its like a hose clamp that holds it in place.

If you are not so lucky ( This exact thing has happened to me with post screws) try putting a sieve outside by the drain pipe and "flushing" the pipes.

Best of luck!

hehe now im feeling positive, like there may be hope for my 510 pin! I will make the plumbers sort it out :D

Good news! Plumbers arrived this morning! and the 510 piece was still in the drain :D :D :D :D Wont be needing a spare one anymore!

Congrats on finding the 510 @Yiannaki

What did the plumber say when you asked him to help you find it?
And when he saw what part you were missing?

Absolute win indeed. I wasn't so lucky last time I lost a post screw.
Ended up taking all the pipes out.
I was shattered at the time.
Luckily it was a rogue atty wich soon got replaced.

Haha well the whole thing was good timing actually!

I had called the plumbers friday morning to come through and sort out the tap for the washing machine. But it was only friday night that the incident of the 510 pin occurred.

So this morning when they arrived, I bashfully requested that they first assist me in looking in the U pipe for "a long gold thingy which i dropped down the sink". Looking somewhat confused at my description of it, he agreed to start there first.

A few minutes later (which felt like an hour as I nervously paced up and down, hoping it was still there) he comes to me with a confused expression asking me if this is what I was looking for. Jumping for joy i took it from his hand and thanked him, while he stood there for a few seconds, hoping for a explanation as to what this strange item was. I never satisfied his curiosity as i felt my time could be better spent getting the Limitless back up and running :D :D

Last time I had a plumber over was to fix a burst pipe in the ceiling a) it's very difficult to work up there and b) the ceiling had colapsed so it was an insurance claim.

Just this weekend I fitted 2 new stop taps below my basin as I'm redoing a bathroom :D

I give you major props for that! If only my home DIY skills were as evolved as my e-liquid DIY :p

The right tools make the world of difference.
Also not interested in paying R500 for a crappy R20 tap and R700 for 20 minutes labour.
You get decent Cobra tabs at R120 and takes you about 30 minutes to fit them.

I only pay for labour when the job cant be done by myself as its too intensive or when I cant do a better job myself.

A few months back i was quoted 7k for about 5m of barge board for my roof.
Got the raw materials for under R700 and did the job myself.

Lol @Yiannaki , thanks for sharing
I can just imagine you doing the "nervous 510 pacing" up and down while the plumber was looking for the part. Hehe. Congrats on getting it found.
