New Firmware for Vandy Vape Pulse 80w

That is great, did not think the power would be increased.
Saw a youtube video from Tony B saying they will up the watts but obviously the battery power will go very quickly without the 21700 support

WOOHOO! Uptated to 90w of vaping goodness! I wonder if the Pulse X panels will fit?

This might be quite interesting to see in the coming months. On one hand it's a nice move by Vandy to give a 90w update, but on the other, with interchangeable panels and 90w output, why buy an X now? I hear the 21700 argument, but unless the X is very similarly priced, it might be a better or possibly even cheaper route to buy an 80w/standard/old pulse (what do we call it now???) and an extra 20700 batt.

No idea what to call it, but I'm definitely getting me some new panels

Not too bothered by the wattage increase, but very interested in the Brightness settings.

I think they mentioned something along the lines that the "X" is the kit form, similar to how the pulse mech came out with a kit a few months after release, this is just the regulated mods kit. They changed the mould to accomodate the 21700 because people were doing unsafe modifications to the 80w mod

Ah now that makes some sense. Thanks for the info.

Had a look at the Mike Vapes review again yesterday and I don't see why I have to get one just for a 21700 battery option.
80W works great

Ag I think the size will make a difference. As I currently see it with the 20700's, you have a trade off. Either a low Amp high capacity, or vice versa. With the 21700 you seemingly get both, so I can run a lowish build and still have great battery life and safety.
