Hi friends!

I want to hear your thoughts!
For me disposable pods are the best.
I love how flavorful it is and huge flavor variant to choose from!
How about you?

Can you share your attitude towards disposable pods?1.jpg

Worried about the environment and both the appeal and accessibility to both the under age and those that have never smoked. The OP is just marketing blah based on no fact whatsoever especially as disposables come in between 8 to 12 flavours and are all pretty much the same flavours between all manufacturers and heavy on the ice, compare that to the "thousands" of flavour options with non disposables. Manufacturers like them for the simple reason they make the manufacturer loads of money being cheap and simple to produce with high yield turnover at the expense of vaping which has enough problems without the added ammunition disposables bring!

I personally enjoy the flexibility and ease of use. I am pretty much about 95% over to disposable pods.

The flavours and longevity have come a long way.

The important thing is disposing of them correctly.

How come the poll only has a neutral or positive option?

I agree with @Timwis but at the same time if I had to choose, I'd settle for disposable pods rather than disposable pens/pod systems where you end up throwing away a perfectly reusable battery....

I assumed they are talking about disposable pod devices!

I an going to try and answer without trying to be funny. A complete disposable unit no...
But a Rechargeable battery with a closed disposable pod, maybe
I haven't really thrown away a disposable complete unit. I refill and recharge them so I can reuse them.

Disposable device: Absolutely not. No way. Never. Throwing away a rechargeable battery device after one charge is terrible.

Disposable closed pod: I will not use them. Also very wasteful. The pod could be used over and over again.

Disposable open (refillable) pod. I have no real issues with these. Unlike all of the above you are not limited to a few flavours, most of them with ice. They are useful to get people to quit smoking.

Rebuildable coil for pod : By far the best. Easy to build, cheap, great flavour and you can use any juice.

They were very popular a year ago, but not so much anymore. Nowadays most people prefer disposable devices.

The main disadvantage with the disposable pods which are currently on the market is that the quantity of juice per pod is very small e.g. 2ml. A heavy vaper goes through that in no time at all.

Hi Puff the Magic Dragon, that's very informative of you. That's a great help. That's why we Univapo are made for users. Thanks for you reply. It keeps us motivated.

Hi, Thank you so much for your honest opinion. Great help to improve us univapo.

Firstly ... That was very presumptuous of you to offer two choices :oops:, (which in my opinion demonstrates your company's standpoint rather clearly :-( .... to which I added another "choice" above to reflect my sentiments), be that as it may ... let me give you the benefit of doubt, and offer you some elaboration on my comment;
IF you improved their safety, (A LOT! ... starting with buffering the cell, and putting in a driver as apposed directly switching the atomiser, along with the inclusion of some sort of fuse / PTC / some/anything for overloading / short circuits / over temp scenarios, and used a decent gauge and quality of connecting wire ), and ... made them rechargeable, (NFC maybe?), so that people could get their moneys worth, and ... offered a refundable deposit on return of said "spent" pods, for starters, then I MIGHT reconsider my current standpoint, and until then I'll remain outspoken as anti disposable pods! :--P

My 2c

In a global economy where the modern trend is for inexpensive disposable items and the associated mindset, then any company wanting to have a return on investment has to follow the market demand. WE are driving that market trend when it comes to disposables.

As has been said on this forum more than a few times, we are hobbyists and enjoy all that entails IRO vaping. When we put on a smokers hat and walk in those shoes we see a different perspective. I want to stop smoking, so what is the easy transition? It certainly is not what most of us here currently enjoy. The building, the technical understanding, the latest mods, the appreciation of a well built RTA,RDA ... the chasing of the holy grail. No, there is a need to stop smoking.

Why should the guy in transition go to the extreme of learning all about vaping when what he wants is to get off the smokes. He wants to do it cheaply with as less fuss and bother as possible. He does not want to recharge and refill. He wants to put his hand in his pocket and pull out another small easily carried disposable. He hopes that this transition will take as little time as possible to break his smoking habit and that he will down the line give up both smoking and vaping. I have mates that look at me with disdain for the latest Grus and Arbiter solo that I currently use. That question is it really necessary to blow those big clouds when the little Kipo or disposable is doing the same job. I was recently asked how long I have been vaping. I replied almost ten years, his reply was "that's a long time to break a habit"

There is no doubt that the disposable trend will continue and that there will be a ready market for them. Try as we will there will be an evolution, smokers in transition and then new vapers that may have been smokers if vaping was not available. My standpoint is that if vaping is going to be a struggle for everyday Joe to stop smoking but that disposables will give him an avenue to quit tobacco then I have to side with the disposable. Sure, I have arguments and agree with many of the statements here and will strongly advocate for responsible manufacture and disposal of the disposables. I will strongly lobby for manufacturers to introduce programs to reduce waste and recycle and will strongly oppose any youth targeting.

Bring on disposables, bring on responsible manufacture and disposing of these items, bring on recycling. I wanted to stop smoking long before I did. Nothing worked. The gum, patches and hypnosis did nothing. Only vaping has achieved what the other alternatives could not and that is to be tobacco free.

Keep going Univapo ....... but keep asking the same question at every sales meeting, every design meeting, every board meeting and every shareholder meeting.

Are we being responsible ?

There is something in all these disposables that's a secret. There is no pod system, yes not even the caliburns, juice or diy mtl recipe, no matter how you tweak it with sweetener, ws23, % of flavor, pg/vg ratio, freebase/nic salts/tfm nicotine or coil setup, that's on the level of flavor, smoothness, throat hit, and addiction that a disposable provides. Had some juice leaked out from a disposable that have eaten away the paint on the aluminum body of the disposable. Also, so many teens that never smoked a cigarette of 6 - 12mg nic is suddenly exposed to 50mg easy accessible smoking/vaping products Definitely some secret non healthy ingredients designed by the chinese to create a new addiction on a very large part of the population. All for the $$$. Well Yolo. Its still very nice. Wish i could afford disposables 24/7 until life do me part

Not all disposables are made by the Chinese.

Personally, I don't like them at all. Can just as well purchase a quality vape once off, you'll save at the end

For me, the flavours are hit and miss. Perhaps most importantly it does not make financial sense as it is expensive to use these devices.

I have a few gripes with disposables:

1. Nicotine content is too high (12mg is my limit).
2. In most cases, overly sweetened and/or overly iced.
3. I'm a dessert only guy so there's not much variety for me.
And the main reason is:
4. The infrastructure to dispose of them properly is just not there. If most disposables were able to be broken up into pieces (battery, metal, plastic, etc.) and disposed of in their respectable recycling bins that would solve the problem. Right now there's just no right way of throwing a disposable away.
