Aluminium Vamo Section Thread Stuck

so the vamo i just got is an aluminium tube, 3 sections, the spacer center part seems to be stuck. as in i can't unscrew it to change it to the shorter 18350 mode. any suggestions apart from a pair of pliers that will damage the paint

Afore you try to fix it, take a photo, go to your order page on Fasttech, open a ticket and tell them the problem and add the photo.

If it definitely is supposed to come apart, you could try wrapping it with a thick cloth and tweak with a pair of water pump pliers, but be gentle. If there is a gap try and get some Q20 onto the threads.

great so after damaging the paint a little it has been determined that the section i thought had a thread, does in fact not have a thread and just pulls off. and the bottom cap screws off also, so the entire unit splits into 4 different parts. well problem solved, just a little damage
