Theese questions have been bugging me.
1. Is it safe to put all batteries in the chargers then plug charger in or must you first switch charger on then put batteries in?

2. Can you leave batteries in the charger overnight? Or must you take them out when they are charged immediately

1. makes no difference because the charger starts at 20ma and then steps up to 500ma or whatever the peak is for that charger model.
2. charger switches off once all 3 leds are lit on my i20, but I dont charge overnight... I would not like to wake up from a deep sleep to the aroma of smoke.( if such an event should occur, I'd prefer it to be daylight and awake.)

On point 2 @Nightwalker - i agree with @blujeenz
I dont leave them overnight while I sleep. Just in case. I dont want a fire to start
You never know what could happen with batteries put into a relatively "cheap charger" that goes on the blink and doesnt automatocally stop charging.

If you do charge overnight, make sure its on a surface that cant catch fire with no combustibles nearby. Eg a granite top clear of other items or the tiled floor. If I recall correctly, @kimbo had a whole thing set up specifically for this with a tile etc
