You asked what I think.... I think it's a total fail. If you buy this you have to buy compatible XTAR batteries. I've never seen XTAR batteries for sale in this country. No other battery manufacturer will jump onboard this "solution" for a problem that doesn't exist.

It's just another dumb gimmick.

I'm an XTAR fan - I have 4 different chargers from them and they are top notch, but this is not going to be joining them.
